Myron and I were 65 grads from Hobart High. He was also so special to me and my Mom. He attended one of my birthday parties (I have a picture) and my Mom thought he was so sweet. When he was sick and had to be hospitalized when we were Seniors (I think), I went to see him. He has always been a special part of my school memories. When I learned he taught in Portage, I wanted to visit him at the school, but never had the opportunity when I was in the area. I was very saddened when I learned of his death. I learned from one of his previous students that he was memorialized with a ball field being named for him. If he was the same Myron I knew in school he would have been very honored and humbled.
