Mr. Fessler and Family, I just read the news! I am truely sorry for the Fessler family's loss. Although I never had him for a teacher, I remember walking down the hallways seeing him smile. I remember during track and field he was the one who would start the events with a gun shot and a ready, set, mark, go! I still find it hard to believe. Not only has Portage School Systems lost a great teacher, but the city of Portage, Indiana has lost a great man. He will definitely be remembered forever and a day! Mandy
